Mangazina di Rei Cultural Park

High on a hill in a beautiful and timeless setting you can find a large solitary white building above an open field dotted with small traditional houses. The Mangazina di Rei (1824) was used by the dutch government to store provisions for the slaves. The second oldest stone building on Bonaire now forms part of a cultural park where young and elder Bonaireans are working together to keep their traditional customs alive. “See, feel and taste the culture of Bonaire”. Every last Saturday of the month from 8.00 am – 2.00 pm they organize the cultural event ‘Nos Zjilea”. It is a fusion of local arts & crafts, plants & vegetables, cultural & educational presentations, food & music and an exhibition about the most interesting sights around Rincon. Come to SEE, FEEL AND TASTE THE CULTURE OF BONAIRE. Located at the east entrance of the village of Rincon.
