As soon as you arrive on Bonaire you will see that we have some really special locals roaming the streets. These are our lovely Bonaire Donkey’s. Established in 1993, the Donkey Sanctuary provides a safe and peaceful oasis for more than 400 orphaned donkeys.

The donkeys are very friendly, cute, and they aren’t afraid to interact with you. The Donkey Sanctuary Bonaire is south of Kralendijk, five minutes from Bonaire International Airport.
